STOP FEEDING ME SO MUCH GOOD FOOD!

I don’t know what has gotten into my wife lately, but she has been on a cooking mission. I mean she normally does all the cooking, and it’s always really good, but the past couple days have been totally out of control. Over the past couple of days she made some of the best dishes she has ever made.

It all started off with homemade berry and peach cobbler. I don’t kid myself that what I was eating was uber healthy, but it was made with no dairy or other junk. It had to be one of the best tasting cobblers I’ve ever had. I could have eaten 5 bowls of the berry cobbler alone. I’m not normally a big fan of peaches, but that was pretty darn good too.

Then, she made the mistake of making me potato latkes. I have a major weakness for these and actually ate so many of them that I felt ill. I didn’t count the exact number, but I know I had at least 15 of them over the course of the day. I could hardly move by bedtime.

Finally, this afternoon she showed up with another wonderful meal. It was some sort of homemade chili / soup dish. I don’t know exactly what was in it, but it was healthy for sure. On top of that there was a nice side salad to go along with it.

Normally I don’t over eat and do my best to spread my portions out over the day. It’s hard to do that when everything coming your way is amazing and you just want to eat more and more. I’m convinced that she is trying to fatten me up for winter or something.
